Our bison are closely cared for, 100% grass-fed, and range freely on our 3700 acre regenerative Montana ranch. The way they were designed to be.
Ordering bison from Hightail100 means you’re eating meat “field-to-freezer” — as fresh and natural as it gets.
Importantly, special meat like ours requires a special process to ensure you’re receiving the best.

How to Order
Orders can be secured with a 50% deposit. Remaining balances must be paid prior to delivery.
Payment balances are calculated by weighing the actual amount of meat you will receive at $17.99 per pound, then subtracting your deposit.
We’ll notify you once your order is ready for delivery so balances can be paid and delivery date/location can be coordinated.

What You Get With a Whole Bison Purchase
300-350lbs of prime grass-fed bison meat. Every bison is unique. Size will vary from bison to bison and year to year.
The following is an approximate list of cuts you will receive when ordering a quarter bison:
- 12 Rib-Eye Steaks
- 12 Sirloin Steaks
- 12 New York Steaks
- 8 Tenderloin Steaks
- 8 Flat Iron Steaks
- 8 Skirt Steaks
- 4 chuck roast
- 4 short ribs
- 200lbs of ground bison (made from whole roasts not just trim).
- Heart, liver, tongue (with inspector approval)
- The option to add the skull, hide and bones for an additional processing fee
You will also receive:
- A free stand up freezer (first time customers only).
- Bison cooking tips and recipes.
- An invitation to our exclusive Hightail100 harvest celebration in Camas Prairie, MT.
- Membership in our Hightail 100 club. A whole bison will be reserved for every
member annually. Limit 100 members.

For all other locations, freight will be arranged with a 3rd party carrier. Shipping costs will be an additional charge.

Delivery Dates
We have two general delivery windows per year: May and November.
Exact dates will vary depending on the animals, harvest conditions, processing, and other variables. We will do our best to communicate and coordinate exact delivery dates as far in advance as possible.
Montana Delivery & Local Pickup
Local Pickup at the ranch is available. Local Pickup orders will receive a $500 delivery rebate with each order. Please contact us prior to ordering to receive the Local Pickup delivery rebate.
Complementary Freezer (Montana Freezer Pack)
Your first purchase of a half or whole bison will include a free standup freezer with your order. Seriously.
Your meat will be pre-packed in your new freezer and delivered right to your door. It doesn’t get any easier.
